Editorial
Travis Central announcements are for the benefit of all county employees. The webteam reserves the right to make editorial decisions to serve that goal. We will work with you to make sure that your message and graphic asset fit the tone of Travis Central.
We can post
- County-wide events for employees
- County-offered programs and efforts (health and fitness, recycling, commute) for employees to engage employees
- Fundraisers benefiting registered non-profits/charities
- County employee retirement events (no event invitations will be posted as kudos)
- County department/employee award/recognition from outside organizations
- If it is an event – announcement
- If it is only an announcement of the recognition – it is a kudo
- Funeral for employee or ex-employee
- Training opportunities
- Safety announcements
- Specific requests from the Commissioners Court
We cannot post
- Any fundraisers benefiting a department or an employee
- Anything that is not useful or helpful for fellow employees
- Anything that is personal in nature and promoting personal interest (private)
- Anything that is commercial or promoting commercial interest
- Anything that is political or promoting political interest
- Anything that is religious or promoting religious interest
- Anything that is copyrighted
The Rules on Photos
- Photos containing text information won’t be used on slides
- If submitted graphic asset do not meet technical requirements, we will offer alternatives
