The Custodial Operations Division performs an essential role in maintaining a clean, healthy, safe and sustainable business environment for Travis County employees, clients, and citizens. The Custodial Operations Division workload includes a portfolio of 43 buildings totaling of 1,942,916 Square feet located in urban, suburban and rural areas of the Travis County. The Custodial Operations Division is divided into two service areas:

• The in-house custodial services area is responsible for 18 buildings with a total of 1,428,836 square feet.
• The out-sourced custodial services area is responsible for 25 buildings with a total of 514,080 square feet.

The Custodial Operations Division range of services includes but not limited to:

• Daily general cleaning and disinfecting of county buildings
• Interior waste and recycling material removal
• Periodic floor maintenance and window cleaning
• Event clean up and trash removal
• Emergency clean up services
• Manage contract janitorial services
