Our Moves Operations team are the goodwill ambassadors of FMD. They often must remain calm during a multitude of situations, all of which may include disorganized, disgruntled, and/or stressed employees. They manage to stay coordinated, levelheaded, and work with optimum efficiency. This is a physically demanding position, and team works together to be able to lift and move heavy objects throughout the day while displaying the teamwork and collaborative spirit for which FMD is known.

Moves Operations’ services include but are not limited to:

• Disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances
• Load and unload large items to and from box trucks
• Drive trucks to and from delivery locations
• Unpack items and arrange new spaces for use according to customer specifications
• Set up / tear down tables and chairs for special events
• Pick up and deliver items no longer wanted to the Purchasing Warehouse
