Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

FMLA for all Departments/Offices EXCEPT Civil Courts, County Clerk, Sheriff, and Tax Office

Effective November 1, 2023, Travis County has partnered with Sedgwick to administer the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) FMLA, Military, and Paid Parental Leaves.

For FMLA and PPL leave requests, contact Sedgwick at 888.436.9530. Their team will guide you through the claims process and answer any questions you may have. You can also visit the Employee Portal at timeoff.sedgwick.com.

Employees will continue reporting absences to their supervisor or department HR per your department leave policy.

When approved by Sedgwick, FMLA time codes will still need to be entered in SAP.
